In 2014, a group of Swedish entrepreneurs and individuals got this “crazy” idea to invite African business leaders to Sweden for a business the coldest month in Sweden, the Swedish Winter Challenge was born. The SWC was started to increase collaboration between startups in Sweden and startups in some African countries. Also to share knowledge this initiative has thus far connected startups in Sweden and 15 other African countries.
Within the context of the project, my role revolved around startup coaching. As a startup coach, I assumed the responsibility of guiding and supporting aspiring entrepreneurs in their journey towards building successful ventures. My primary focus was to provide valuable insights, strategic guidance, and practical advice to help these startups navigate the challenges they faced. Through personalized coaching sessions, I aimed to assist them in refining their business models, developing effective growth strategies, and overcoming obstacles. By leveraging my expertise and experience in the startup ecosystem, I strived to empower these entrepreneurs, enabling them to make informed decisions, achieve their goals, and unlock their full potential.
